Dr Tad Squires has seen two of my pets and he is an incredible vet. The office staff is inefficient and incompetent. My son took his pet in and signed up for a monthly program they offered. Unfortunately his pet died a few weeks later and the office required payment on full when though his pet passed. They wanted payment up front for the year agreement and while I offered to make payments they refused. They listed the debt under my name even though my adult son is the one who took his pet in. When I called to straighten this issue out I was told to bad that they had listed it under my name because I have the account with them from prior visits. I never signed a monthly agreement with them. The vets are awesome however the front desk and billing staff seem to be completely incompetent. Enter at your own risk.

Dr. Abbey Burgess is our vet for our new puppy, and she is fantastic! She and both of the vet techs that we often chat with, Matt and Will, are all so patient with us being first time puppy owners. They answer all our questions and don't make us feel rushed. They took amazing care of our girl when she was spayed and talked us through what was to be expected when they determined a couple of our pup's teeth needed to be pulled.
Hendricks also really cares about your pet. They called the day after the procedure just to check up on Rose and see how she was doing. They also called to check on Rose after we had to take her to an urgent care and they received the records.

I scheduled and had my husband take our dog daughter in for just an exam and Bordetella vaccination and ended up getting a surprise charge for a Leptospira vaccination that wasn't even discussed nor even witnessed being given by the nurse/doctor for my dog. Whether my dog needed it or not should always be my final decision based on information of the benefits AND risks. Not just a spur of the moment thing, that is if she even received it. Unless you don't want to know what and if the vet is giving your dog or enjoy being charged for something that may not have even been administered, I wouldn't come to Hendricks Veterinary. Very unprofessional and I will be finding another more trustworthy Veterinary practice where I know what I will be charged for and what will be given to my dog at all times...

I am not sure what changes have been made here but the front office staff (with the exception of Miss Harley) have no idea what they are doing. Sadly, they are the first and last impression of the clinic. I had a great experience with my new puppy and a new vet (new to us), I would give the vet 5 starts. I just wish that I could say the same for the front office staff. To make matters worse,I didn't receive a return call from the office manager so I called and made a second attempt. Fortunately she answered the phone, but was not helpful in the least. She seriously didn't make an effort to try and resolve my concerns. A strong staff starts with a strong leader. Very disappointing day.

While the vets are awesome, I think they have lost their vision. We called regarding an established very sick dog on Wednesday to see if we can get her in on Friday and no call back. We were told they are booked out three weeks and no one returned the call to see if she can get in on Friday. Was told there is only one vet on Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday. How can you run a vet practice and not 1) return the call and 2)offer alternate care. We were told lack of employees were the cause but an answering service would have helped. Sorry to see this happen to a great veterinary practice. Yet they advertise for more patients.

I'm not from around here, but my dog needed a follow-up visit. Hendricks Veterinary Hospital scheduled an appointment in a timely manner. Everybody was extremely friendly. My dog is a little timid at all veterinary hospitals, but my dog warmed up quickly to the people working here. My overall time there was quick and efficient. The vet gave me an all clear. I would definitely recommend this vet hospital for your dog's needs.

We took our pup to Hendricks because we were told that one of the vets - Dr Patterson - specializes in derm issues in dogs, and our pup was having some skin issues. They were so attentive and caring, and we didn't have to wait long in the waiting room or in the exam room before being helped. The Dr came up with a plan and communicated the expectations and plan clearly, and filled our dogs prescriptions promptly. I highly recommend Hendricks if you are looking for a new vet.

Dr. Joel Davis has been our primary vet for many of these years. The many Vet techs that have been assisting with our pets are positive and well trained. Dr. Davis is excellent and has always helped direct our pet's care when special needs have arrived with emergencies and needs of any health challenges. The front office staff are always attentive, friendly which makes for a positive visit. Helps both me and our pets!
Dr Davis's knowledge and dedication to provide the best treatment for our pets has helped us to make the necessary decisions when our pets have needed additional medical help. Love the cleanliness of the facility and positive environment. Love the Paws Plan which helps us when surprises come up to afford treatment.
I will recommend Hendrick's as I have to many of our friends. They as well appreciate and trust the staff to take care of any needs of their pets.

We have two dachshunds, one very old and one very young, and my son's family has had dogs treated by them as well. Our experiences with the doctors, techs and staff have all been very positive, and compassionate. They listen. They respond. And they follow through. Our old doggie is crippled, and they are doing their best to ensure his quality of life for however much time he has left. Even in years where the only saw our pups for an annual checkup and nothing else, the staff remembers us and the pups. That's dedicated service.
