The Federal Bar Association’s Utah Chapter held its annual awards banquet last night where Kirton McConkie’s own Ralph R. Mabey received an award for Lawyer of the Year. Flanked by family, friends, and colleagues, Ralph was honored for his distinguished legal career in bankruptcy-related matters as a court-appointed examiner, trustee, and committee counsel, as well as an arbitrator, mediator, and expert witness. His dedication, expertise, and commitment to justice have made him a true leader in the legal community. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! #LawyerOfTheYear #WeAreKirtonMcConkie

Some attorneys in our #IP section volunteered today to serve lunch to those in need at the #StVincentdePaulDiningHall. Not only did they get to spend a little time prepping and serving lunch, but they also got to learn more about the inspiring work that Catholic Community Services of Utah does for our community. #WeAreKirtonMcConkie

We couldn't wait until April 24 to celebrate our amazing staff and support teams, so we celebrated #AdministrativeProfessionalsDay a smidge early. This place couldn't function without these fantastic folks! Thanks to our legal assistants, paralegals, IT wizards, receptionists, finance friends, doc center saints, and everyone in between—we love celebrating you as much as we can! #WeAreKirtonMcConkie

Reflecting on an inspiring day at the Utah Center for Legal Inclusion - UCLI's fundraiser luncheon yesterday! The theme “Mentorship Matters” truly resonated as we explored the pivotal role of mentorship in education and in the legal profession. We heard from John Arthur, NBCT, the 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year, who showed us the importance of mentorship from an early age, and we learned about the many ways to be a successful mentor from keynote speaker Dr. Christy Glass. We also heard from law student Naomi Botchway who will join Kirton McConkie as a summer associate this year! We left motivated to continue supporting equality and justice in our legal community and grateful for the mentors we’ve had in our lives. #WeAreKirtonMcConkie
